So, over the last couple months I have been working on the ultimate brownie recipe. I have yet to make it though I have made some pretty yummy attempts. Unfortunately the yummiest brownies so far were very buttery. Once my search has come to a conclusion I will let you know. For now here are some things that I have learned.
Garbanzo beans are not good in brownies
Oatmeal isn't that great either
If possible avoid baking soda unless you want a brownie flavored cake
Chocolate chips are better than peppermint chips
Chocolate frosting and peanut butter frosting are good
Mint frosting, at least the kind I made, not so much
When in doubt make chocolate chip cookies :)
Well, that's all I have about brownies at the moment. Also for anyone who wants to know and hasn't already figured out, I have decided to stick with 友达 as my Chinese name, at least for now.

I would be interested in that brownie recipe when you discover it. I have a pretty good one, but Nathanael is still convinced nothing can beat boxed brownies... :-p
